I find myself out of ideas quite frequently, so I’m very thankful that you take the time to share your own ideas—such as this one. I used to love creating sand art when I was a child, but I hadn’t even thought about using it as an activity for my Sunday school kids until I came across this blog post. I was able to find plastic, cross-shaped containers at my local craft store—and at an inexpensive price—and stocked up on different colors of sand. As always I tested the activity out with my own children before bringing it to the classroom. And they had a blast! I can’t wait to share this sand art activity with my children’s ministry.
