I had never connected objectives this way. (I’ve also never taught preschool.) Your idea sounds like it would be so radical compared to what’s out there now, but it makes such common sense. I like it. More, please?

You come up with some really wonderful and creative activities for kids! I find myself out of ideas quite frequently, so I’m very thankful that you take the time to share your own ideas—such as this one. I used to love creating sand art when I was a child, but I hadn’t even thought about using it as an activity for my Sunday school kids until I came across this blog post. I was able to find plastic, cross-shaped containers at my local craft store—and at an inexpensive price—and stocked up on different colors of sand. As always I tested the activity out with my own children before bringing it to the classroom. And they had a blast! I can’t wait to share this sand art activity with my children’s ministry.
